“The path of comets is the path of poets,” says Tsvetaeva’s famous poem. The title of the book comes from this line. This is a documentary narrative about the poet's life, based on reliable facts. Part one - “Young Tsvetaeva” - tells about the life of Marina Ivanovna before leaving Soviet Russia in 1922. The book has been expanded with materials that became known after the release of the first edition of the book (2002) in connection with the discovery of Marina Tsvetaeva’s archive for researchers in the Russian State Archive of Literature .
