Trouble has come to Krutoy Yar, in the swamps. A dashing red-eyed creature has settled among the swamps, dragging away children. Either the son of the baker Nastasya will be kidnapped, or the beekeeper's children - glorious twins five years old. There is only one way out - to turn to the sorcerer’s young student, Ognyar, for help. But here’s the problem - the student is careless, everything falls through the cracks and nothing gets done.
