Його боротьба за порятунок не лише себе, а й свого молодшого брата Стівена, робить цю історію дуже близькою та зрозумілою. Автор майстерно передає емоції персонажів, їхні страхи та надії, а також створює захопливий світ, де ангели та демони ведуть свою війну. Якість написання вражає, а сюжет тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Особливо сподобалася динаміка між Аароном та занепалим ангелом, яка додає глибини та інтриги.
