Історія про зникнення Стюарта Гріна та інших людей в Атлантик-Сіті розгортається поступово, відкриваючи нові деталі та повороти, які не дають змоги відірватися від читання. Персонажі прописані дуже детально, а їхні переживання та мотивації викликають співчуття. Особливо сподобалася робота детектива Джека Брума, який, незважаючи на роки безуспішних пошуків, не втрачає надії та продовжує шукати правду.
