The action of the adventure-fantasy novel by K. M. Nefediev “The Grave of Tame-Tung” (1967) takes place in the second half of the 40s of our century in the depths of the virgin forests of the Amazon. The heroes find themselves in a country inhabited by monstrous animals, lead a life full of anxiety and danger, and find the grave of Tame-Tung, the leader of the Indian tribe Lakori - descendants of aliens from other planets. The adventure-fantasy novel “The Grave of Tame-Tung” is the second book by Konstantin Nefediev . His premature death prevented him from completing work on the novel. This was done by the writer N.Ya. Bolotnikov. It tells about the search for a mysterious tribe of “white” Indians, who, according to legend, hid in the wilds of the Amazon from destruction by the conquistadors. In the novel, the tribe turns out to be descendants of the Indian tribe Lakori and the Regari who flew from the Pleiades constellation; the loss of the former culture is explained by an earthquake that destroyed almost the entire people. The scientists who found the Lakorians decide that the disclosure of surviving information about the aliens is untimely and decide to protect their secret. The novel uses an exotic South American setting, and the novel enjoyed considerable success among readers.
