Laura Beloivan is a desperate writer. And not because she despairs - she never despairs, but cheerfully, bravely and boldly meets all the blows of fate - but because she lives by the sea-ocean, in the farthest Russian city of Vladivostok, among port dockers and stock brokers, because that she swam across this sea-ocean, because she is not afraid of anything - neither in life nor in literature, except perhaps flying on an airplane. Reading it is fun, sometimes scary. I do not recommend reading this book to lovers of very elegant literature, who do not often hear the expressions of long-distance sailors, they may be shocked. Well, for those who love the living Russian language, as vast as the Pacific Ocean, I recommend it. Alexander Zhitinsky
