The sky darkened and silence reigned, broken only by the music of the cicadas as they began their evening concert. Lighted torches illuminated the area prepared for the ceremony. The Zazu dancers standing in the circle raised their heads and turned their eyes to the sky, to the place where the star was soon to appear. A greenish, flaring glow flashed right above the jungle. Everyone held their breath. Where there had just been nothing, a rising star appeared. Its beam slid between the columns and touched the Emerald Bird encased in stone... The students of Sheffield School go on a fantastic journey to Zazu, a large village in the heart of the jungle, where the annual celebration of the Day of the Emerald Bird takes place. But this time the festive ceremony is overshadowed by dramatic events. The Ancient Jug of the Water of Life is stolen, and the fate of the entire tribe is in the hands of the Sorceresses. Will Will, Irma, Tarani, Cornelia and Hay Lin be able to travel along the Last Coyote Trail, fight the ancient deities and return the precious Jug?
