Авторка майстерно створює світ, в якому переплітаються елементи наукової фантастики та людських переживань. Головні герої, Вейні та її напівкоханий, проходять через складні випробування, намагаючись знищити "Ворота", які відкривають шлях у невідоме. Черрі вміло передає емоції персонажів, їхні страхи та надії, що робить їх близькими та зрозумілими читачеві. Особливо вразила детальна розробка всесвіту, в якому відбуваються події, що дозволяє зануритися у цю захоплюючу історію. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім шанувальникам фантастики, які шукають не лише пригоди, а й глибокі людські стосунки та моральні дилеми.
