The book introduces the life of T. A. Lugovskaya (1909–1994), artist and writer, sister of the poet V. Lugovsky. From a young age, she was familiar with many poets and writers - V. Mayakovsky, O. Mandelstam, A. Akhmatova, P. Antokolsky, A. Fadeev, and was friends with E. Bulgakova and F. Ranevskaya. The work of a theater artist brought her closer to V. Tatlin, A. Tyshler, S. Lebedeva, L. Malyugin and others. She left a story about her childhood “I Remember,” highly appreciated by V. Kaverin, vivid oral stories recorded by her niece, letters to playwright L. Malyugin, which contain the atmosphere of the time, evacuation to Tashkent, memories of V. Tatlin, A. Akhmatova and other wonderful people. The book ends with pages from the diary, written with irony and sadness about life, love and old age.
