To get to know the life of the “new nomads” better, Jessica Bruder set off on the road herself. She slept in a van, worked at Amazon and in a sugar beet warehouse, attended events popular among "work travelers" and met a variety of people and their stories in order to better understand and more accurately show their real lives. Her story is about people with an unbending will who did not bow to the harsh trials that befell them, but found a new meaning in life and continued on the path to their dream.
