A story-parable that reflects the factors (in the author's opinion) of the difficulty of making the “right” decisions when current circumstances deprive people of bread and loved ones. But most importantly, this is an attempt to convey the idea that every person can make mistakes in life, choosing incentives to gain “good” through wrong actions, which, in turn, can lead to prison and, as a result, to disgust on the part of society (ultimately as a result, completely turning a person away from the “correct” life). Fate is designated as “rich”, because In the life of the main character, more trials have been experienced and passed than an ordinary person can accept! p.s. The plot of this parable complements the fairy tale “The Adventure of Feofan, and for many - just Fan,” and reveals the fate of the “Ataman” whom Fan met on his journey.
