“The Walk” is an ironic story by the famous science fiction writer Robert Sheckley. Written in 1971. It was first published in the same year in the author’s collection “Doubly the same for you.” In the USSR it first appeared in the magazine “Chemistry and Life” in issue 7 of 1985. Aldebaran Papazian decided to take a little walk and play with people. Therefore, he arrives on Earth and with enviable zeal joins the game... The scenes of communication between the main character and his attending physician in the film “Planet Ka-Pax” are reminiscent of the storyline of the story about the doctor’s communication with Papazian.
