The novel is a novelization of the film “Conan the Barbarian” (which, in turn, is based on the book series about Conan the Barbarian), made by prominent successors of the Conan saga. As a child, Conan fell into slavery, which made him a gladiator slave . Having gained freedom, Conan searches for those responsible for the death of his tribe, becoming a thief along the way. In the tower of the serpent in Zamora, he finds traces of the sorcerer who destroyed his tribe. Together with his newfound friends, Conan declares war on the sorcerer Thulsa-Duum.P.S. The novel is fundamentally at odds with the classic chronology of the book series, and therefore is not traditionally included in it.
