The proposed material claims to be a new archetypal division, especially clearly demonstrating itself in the Eastern Slavs, on the one hand, and the Romano-Germanic peoples, on the other. Methodologically, the work is written from the perspective of cultural studies. The theoretical conclusions are illustrated by a comparison of two outstanding personalities of Russian history - V.V. Rozanov and N.S. Leskova.
