An operative of a sabotage and reconnaissance detachment of special operations forces, after being transferred to the reserve, does not get along with modern peaceful realities. He has little choice: go to the next hot spot or disappear into the vastness of the recently emerged exclusion zone, known as the Peter Zone. Having chosen the second option, the former saboteur becomes a stalker nicknamed Stary. Fulfilling the merchant’s task, in an inconspicuous village, Stary enters into battle with one of the most dangerous mutants - the destructor. During the battle, the stalker finds himself in an anomaly and finds himself in a world much more alien than the Peter Zone. To return home, the Old One must defeat the Evil that has penetrated with him into this mysterious world inhabited by wondrous and terrible creatures. However, very soon the stalker begins to think about what he really wants: to return to his “native” Zone or to stay with new friends. However, no matter what he chooses, his place is where the monsters are.
