The book contains 250 essays, arranged in alphabetical order. Each of them contains reflections and associations born of different words: from apricot to apple, from astrophysics to esotericism. Some essays are entertaining, others are educational, others are philosophical, but all together they address questions of the meaning of life, the world order, religion and atheism, and social order. This book is a visual aid for understanding your own picture of the world and worldview. The author demonstrates a method of thinking about the environment the world, about history and modernity, about philosophy, politics, religion, culture. The associative approach allows you to see and understand your own picture of the world and worldview arsenal. In the minds of everyone there are elements of different worldviews: scientific, religious, mythological. We are not trained in how to use them, we do not know when to proceed from a scientific and when from a religious worldview. Should we always use only one of them, rejecting the others as erroneous? Are worldviews flexible tools, or are they immutable bases? Does our picture of the world depend on the momentary state, and what it “should be”? Our pictures of the world are mosaic. When communicating, we use words, believing that we understand them in the same way, but words have both generally accepted meanings - they are given in dictionaries, and meanings - but everyone has their own and they exist, including as emotional-imaginative complexes. The book is addressed both to those who are thinking “about the meaning of life” for the first time, and to those who have long been seriously immersed in philosophical reflection.
