This textbook is designed to support computer laboratory classes and independent work in the courses “Database Management”, “Principles of Organization and Development of Databases” for students studying in the areas of “Chemoinformatics and Molecular Modeling”, “Bioinformatics”. The manual covers the basics of designing and building databases: the ER model and the relational model, as well as the basics of the SQL language. Each topic contains tasks for individual work. MySQL Workbench is used as the programming environment.
