The GSC computer game “S.T.A.L.K.E.R” gave birth to a whole world associated with the events in it. The action of my novel takes place precisely in the world of “S.T.A.L.K.E.R.” In 2006, the Chernobyl Zone was shocked by a new disaster and again turned into a deadly concentration of conditions hostile to people. This is not only radiation, but also gravitational anomalies and mutants or creatures from other worlds! However, along with deadly anomalies and monsters, objects with strange and sometimes miraculous properties—artifacts—appear in the Zone. And they are used both for medical and scientific purposes, and for committing terrorist acts! And there will always be people who would like to earn a lot quickly and a lot, regardless of the consequences. Such people are called stalkers and they are those who dare to obtain artifacts, risking being drawn into the “anomaly.” They are not afraid of risk and they fight mutants. They are hiding from army patrols and they are outlaws. They are Stalkers! A brash girl named Yana Volkova is driven into a corner by circumstances for which she is partly to blame. And in order to hide from justice and possible revenge from the “brothers”, she goes to the Zone, thereby also pursuing the most common goal - to make money. But anyone who illegally sneaks beyond the perimeter will face difficult trials. Yana had no idea what surprises were being prepared for her not by someone, but by the mysterious Monolith sect and the organization of military stalkers! She will not be able to break with her criminal past and will again have to fight and look through the eyepiece of an optical sight. The book is not recommended for people with an unstable nervous system, since the test contains several moments that fall under the “tough” category.
