The fur starts flying when agang from L.A. comes up totranquil Molena Point, California,and begins breaking into thevillage's quaint shops. The fur ofJoe Grey, Feline P.I., that is. After all, Molena Point has been hishome since he was a kitteneating scraps from the garbagebehind the local delicatessen,and he doesn't take well tomarauding strangers. Joe even wonders whether the blondewho's moved into next to hishuman companion Clyde couldbe a part of the gang––she'sbeen acting pretty suspiciouslately. But when the strangers start trapping and caging feralcats––speaking cats like Joe andhis girlfriend Dulcie––it provestoo much for the intrepid four–footed detective. And when oneof the gang is murdered, and a second mysterious death comesto light, he has no choice but totry to stop the crimes. Joe,Dulcie, and their tattercoatfriend Kit, who used to be astray herself, are deep into the investigation when they areable to release the threetrapped cats.
