Govorukhin’s new collection combines a number of publications, scripts written recently, on which films were made. Unfortunately, the general tendency of the new pseudo-democrats to suppress or interpret any works in their own way prevented some of these films from being released to the wide screen. The well-known obstruction of the author on the Ostankino channel in the “New Studio” by K. Proshutinskaya, the ineptly done editing - supposedly a live broadcast - only fueled the public’s interest in Govorukhin’s work, without giving the opportunity to get acquainted with his new works.
