"Crocodile Kingdom" is the second book in the "Mermaid" series by the English writer Shibel Pounder, author of the beloved "Witches of Glamburgh" series. The little mermaids Bitty, Mimi and Zelda saved the Secret Lagoon from the treacherous Ommy Snook, but they themselves ended up on a sunken ship, which was carried away them in the Crocodile Kingdom. "Where where?" - you would ask if you were a mermaid from the Secret Lagoon. After all, no one there believes that the Crocodile Kingdom really exists. And even more so, it would never occur to anyone that there are water witches and real underwater magic.
