Evgeny Schwartz is a famous Soviet writer, author of the cult plays “The Naked King”, “The Snow Queen”, “Shadow”, “Dragon”, “An Ordinary Miracle”. The diaries are a special part of Schwartz’s creative heritage. The writer led them almost from the very beginning of literary activity. Memories of childhood, youth, the creation of a new theater, the days of the siege of Leningrad and the years of evacuation.
