In a ticket draw for doctors and pharmacists, tickets to anywhere in the world were won. The author faced a difficult choice: 34 countries, in the midst of a pandemic, courageously opened their borders to Russians in the fall of 2020. The choice was multiplied by the desire to spend a minimum amount of money. Without a shadow of a doubt, countries that required a visa to enter (an extra 20 thousand, biometrics and all that) were discarded. Countries where upon arrival you had to be in quarantine and other observations. Countries that the airline's route network does not reach. Questionable African countries and nearby countries that are easy to reach without promotional tickets. What's left? The Maldives remains.
