Sometimes situations happen to us that clearly should have happened to someone else. Someone strong, responsible, who can become the hero of history. The author of the story “The Stroller” describes how responsibility falls on a person against his will, and no matter how much he tries to avoid it, he is not allowed to do so. But this is not the story of the formation of a hero, but rather about the very phenomenon of responsibility and imputation. The story is influenced by Kafka, Beckett and Abe. Surprise and social absurdity collide with mediocrity and form an alarming comicality.
