Peter Lomonosov, the grandson of the famous “piit” Mikhaila Lomonosov and a veteran of the war with Napoleon Bonaparte, and now the commander of the cuirassier division, during the inspection of the detachment, quarreled with Major General Kleinmichel inspecting him. Lomonosov could only be saved from imprisonment in the fortress by resignation, which is what he did. However, Peter’s wild nature and irrepressible thirst for adventure did not allow him to sit still, and he, as soon as he heard that a certain Colonel Pestel was recruiting a detachment of volunteers to help the Greek Christian brothers, immediately went to him. And of course, the young Baron Lomonosov had no idea what his acquaintance with the colonel would lead to!..

Вражаюча історія про пригоди та боротьбу!
Книга "Декабрист" вразила мене своєю глибиною та емоційною наповненістю. Автор майстерно відтворює епоху, в якій жив Петро Ломоносов, показуючи не лише його особисті переживання, а й соціально-політичні обставини того часу. Цікаво спостерігати, як герой, спочатку застряглий у військовій рутині, знаходить у собі сили та рішучість вирушити на допомогу грецьким братам. Його стосунки з полковником Пестелем та іншими персонажами надають сюжету динаміки та напруги. Книга сповнена захоплюючих пригод, які змушують читача відчувати себе частиною подій. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією, пригодами та сильними особистостями, адже вона не лише розважає, а й змушує задуматися про важливість боротьби за свої переконання.
