This book is a story about the most dramatic events of the Soviet period of Russian history. The plots of the book recreate a picture of the general suspicion and cruelty that accompanied the construction of socialism: sharp turns in the destinies of the victims of repression - Soviet leaders, military commanders, law enforcement officers, each of whom was an extraordinary personality, the process of the emergence of terror on a national scale. Terror, which, in an atmosphere of “revolutionary expediency,” quickly grew into the widespread practice of mass extrajudicial executions. Figurative language, deep knowledge of the subject of the story (the authors have extensive experience in prosecutorial work), the use of a vast array of archival documents, many of which remained unknown to the Russian public for a long time allow the reader to visualize the suffering of a person who has fallen under the pressure of class, proletarian justice. You cannot free yourself from the history of the country in which you live. History requires comprehension. Our book is for the thinking reader.
