American writer Wallace Stegner (1909–1993) is the author of numerous books, including 13 novels and several collections of short stories, and winner of various prizes, including the Pulitzer Prize. “Stays With Me” (1987) is his last novel. This is the story of a long and difficult friendship between two married couples, the Langs and the Morgans.
