The name of the American writer Charles Norris (1881 - 1945) may well be familiar to readers - in the mid-20s, some of his novels were published in Russian. Among them are “Philip Baldwin” (“Bross”, 1921), “Bread” (“Bread”, 1923) and “Zelda Marsh” (“Zelda Marsh”, 1927). “Zelda Marsh” is vital, touching, a little A romantic and undoubtedly fascinating story. Her heroine, young, inexperienced, careless at the beginning of the novel, faces many trials in life before worldly and feminine wisdom comes to her. The novel is presented in a new edition, based on the text of the Mysl publishing house, which was published in Leningrad in 1927 .
