Each Moscow cemetery has its own mysterious stories. About thirty years ago, at the Vagankovskoye cemetery, on its southern outskirts, there lay a huge ancient boulder. They said that it was laid in memory of the victims of the Moscow plague of the 18th century. Cemetery drinkers often gathered near the boulder. Among them, one stood out, calling himself a professor. He often sculpted from cemetery clay figures of people blindfolded and with their arms folded back. He called them volts and assured that if the volta was freed, he could show where the treasures lay. Then the professor died and was buried under a boulder. But the story of the Volt men did not end there!..
