5.5 thousand years ago in Mesopotamia, in the developing city of Kadingir, a military coup takes place and the high priest seizes power. The city receives a new name Babylon. The king of the country of Akkad, located in the north-west of Mesopotamia, is trying to subjugate Elam, a country east of the Persian Gulf, to his influence, and, by pooling resources and forces, conquer Mesopotamia. His plans are opposed by Babylon, Alum Ashur (future Assyria), at that time still a weak trading republic, and part of the nobility of Elam.
