An intriguing Slavic fantasy from a Russian author. Full of hope and anticipation of a new life, Princess Ladimila sails to the majestic Buyan-grad - the very heart of Pentamiria. But she doesn’t yet know that behind the carved facades, instead of a bright future, terrible secrets and dirty vices are hidden. Not only the royal subjects weave intrigues there, but also the almighty gods. What place in the dance of brawling passions is destined for the young princess, will the bird maidens take her side and will the wise Alatyr give a hint on how to save himself and the entire Five Worlds while songs of joy and songs of sadness are heard? For whom is this book? For those who want read an intriguing and unforgettable Slavic fantasy. For fans of the books “Mara and Morok” by Leah Arden, “The Falcon and the Raven” by Ulyana Cherkasova, “Songs of Monsters” by Anastasia Andrianova. For those who are curious to learn myths and folk tales that are skillfully hidden in the text .For readers who value visual design and want a book with stunning design for their collection. From the author Unlike real history, from a textbook, there will not be Rus', Ancient Greece, India and other states familiar to us. I was inspired by the heroes of our native fairy tales, myths and legends - from those that come from the depths of centuries to the works of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin. Re-reading them, thoroughly studying their roots, I became convinced of how strongly other peoples influenced Russian culture over the course of epochs. Despite the uniqueness and originality of Russian tales, it is pointless to deny the impact on them from the Byzantines, Scandinavians, Persians and other neighbors. This is how the Five Worlds was born: for each of the states that made it up, a progenitor was found. Yes, from a historical point of view, the Akkadians hardly drank tea with the Russians, but the cultural ties between the Middle Eastern and Slavic peoples are countless. In the Five Worlds, everything is a little different than in life: geography, technical achievements, and even the passage of time. I have not deliberately tied myself to a specific century in our history, so do not be confused by the fact that the Brawlers have ships with cabins, printing and oil lamps. They borrowed something from their neighbors, and invented something themselves. For me it is a mixture of eras with a pinch of magic. In one word: fantasy. But I hope the feelings and actions of the characters turned out to be real and very honest. Happy reading!
