The ancient Eddas tell about the dreki - legendary creatures that live in the depths of the volcanoes of Iceland and kidnap beautiful maidens. Freya does not want to know all these myths. Dreks seducing young ladies? Ha. They just eat silly things. But when a local dreki steals the last ram, depriving them and their ailing father of the opportunity to survive the winter, Freya decides to fight back the terrible legend. Sentenced by his clan to lifelong exile, Rurik admires an angry woman who comes to demand the ram back. She smells of mysterious magic and challenges him at every turn. Rurik intends to take possession of the ardent troublemaker, but to do this he will have to take on a mortal form. Only in human likeness are the dreks vulnerable, but a dragon hunter has arrived on the shores of Iceland, and now Rurik should not take such risks.
