Before you is the third (added) edition of the book “Both in jest and seriously”, which was released in honor of the 90th anniversary of Alexander Aronovich Zachepitsky, the chief designer of the radar, laureate of State Prizes of the USSR and the Russian Federation, holder of many orders and medals, our dear colleague and teacher. Compared to the second edition, it is supplemented with memories of significant events in the life of the hero of the day, his colleagues and military leaders with whom he had to work, as well as poems in honor of memorable dates and events of past years. A.A. Zachepitsky is a creative person in the broadest sense of the word; everyone knows his passion for poetry. His serious, humorous and lyrical poems, cheerful New Year's lectures, and humorous essays bring joy to loved ones, friends and colleagues. The most interesting memories show a sincere, open attitude towards the people who surround him, with whom he had to meet, work, and be friends.
