The battles with the Nazis for the Crimean bridgehead are in full swing. In a Marine detachment, Sergeant Major Andrei Parshakov and medical instructor Dasha are fighting side by side. It's no secret: young people love each other. But war is cruel. Andrei was seriously wounded and ended up in the hospital, Dasha was captured by the Germans, but she managed to escape to the partisans, then again to the front. After recovery, Andrei returned to duty and begged his superiors to send Dasha to his unit. After a long separation, the lovers finally met, only to soon... part again.
