Lev Aleksandrovich Tikhomirov is one of the outstanding representatives of Russian thought, whose name was unfairly excluded from its annals for many years. Interest in the creative heritage of the thinker in the post-Soviet period was marked by in-depth research into his political, historical, legal, economic and sociological views, while his philosophical and cultural views did not become the subject of separate study. The image of Tikhomirov as a statesman has become firmly entrenched in Russian science, largely overshadowing the image of Tikhomirov as a philosopher. However, the thinker's legacy contains a holistic philosophical and cultural concept. Reconstruction of the philosophical and cultural views of the thinker became the goal of this work, by implementing which the authors filled the gap in the study of the thinker’s creative heritage.
