92-year-old woman Valya went missing from her home in the village. Her son, Gennady Petrovich, moves into her house, and strives to understand where she could have disappeared to? First in the village, and then in his family, a series of strange events begins. His daughter Sasha changes beyond recognition after she comes to visit him. Events develop in parallel on the subtle and physical planes, in different time periods. Sasha learns what it's like to be a ghost, but ultimately gets her body back. Mysticism, humor, detective work and family relationships are intertwined here.
