The works included in the collection of science fiction “Echoes of Distant Stars” are based on my reaction to the events that are happening now on our planet and, first of all, related to human activity. It would seem that successes in the development of scientific and technological progress, in the knowledge of nature, should contribute to the formation in people of such important qualities as kindness, mercy, responsibility for all life on Earth. However, this does not happen. Violence and cruelty continue to be human companions, while acquiring more terrible and terrible forms, comparable only to wild feudal society. At the same time, due to ill-considered actions of people, and most often simply due to banal negligence, environmental disasters occur, leading to mass death of both plants, animals, and humans themselves. At the same time, the value of human life began to lose its meaning. Moreover, every year this becomes more and more noticeable. Sometimes you want to shout: “People, come to your senses, what are you doing!?”
