During the Soviet era, censorship in the press and on TV completely deprived fans of stars of this “pleasure.” Rumors circulated, people caught rare messages, and the press cheerfully reported on the high morality of society. Nevertheless, scandals occurred, sometimes at the highest levels of power, with the most popular actors, the most respected cultural figures and the most famous athletes.
