“All Rivers Flow” is an adaptation of the novel by Australian writer Nancy Cato.

The ship on which the young Englishwoman Philadelphia Gordon is heading to Australia in search of a better life with her parents crashes. Philadelphia, left an orphan, settles on her aunt's farm in the vicinity of Echuca. She invests part of the inheritance left by her father in a paddle steamer. Her life changes forever when she meets Brenton Edwards. Delhi marries Brenton and gives up her career as an artist in Melbourne for life and travel on the river by boat.
