The “Corporation”, a private company capable of solving any security problem, takes an order from American intelligence agencies to deal with strange pirates operating in Chinese waters. This time, operational information reports that the pirates are transporting secret contraband cargo that the Corporation needs to capture. On their ship "Oregon", Captain Juan Cabrillo and his crew block the pirate ship and take it by storm. To the amazement of the winners, the “smuggling” turns out to be a container filled to the top... with the bodies of dead Chinese. Cabrillo finds out that the pirates are part of a powerful international gang supplying illegal immigrants to Russia and Kamchatka. "Oregon" sails there - and stumbles upon a "golden" trail...

Сюжет про «Корпорацію», що займається безпекою, та їхню боротьбу з піратами, виявляється набагато глибшим, ніж просто боротьба з криміналом. Відкриття, яке робить капітан Хуан Кабрільо, шокує і змушує задуматися про серйозні соціальні проблеми, такі як нелегальна імміграція та торгівля людьми. Персонажі прописані дуже детально, і їхні мотивації та переживання відчуваються реальними. Я із задоволенням рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить захоплюючі історії з елементами драми та соціальної критики. Це справжній літературний шедевр, який залишає слід у серці!
