And the most advanced demiurges of modern times are the Artisans, a semi-legal group of hackers and pirates who take images from the minds of other people and turn them into something that can be packaged, sold and consumed. All Artificers are already so addicted to virtual reality that many go forever to artificial worlds, leaving their body behind. But now the network has become dangerous, a strange virus has appeared on it, possessing genuine intelligence that can bring down any system and disfigure the human brain.
