The novel “Four Follies” tells about the largest actor, director and reformer of the German and European theater of the late 19th – early 20th centuries, a Serb originally from the city of Vranjevo, who carried out significant theatrical productions in Weimar, Vienna and Munich. The vast majority of the characters, including the director of the traveling theater Stanislas Murari, are historical figures. The novel “Shakespeare's Client” is in some way a reflection on long-term work in the theater, both in his native Vojvodina and in Belgrade.
