As long as the New Jerusalem Monastery has existed, Andrei Bezugly has lived as long as he has, the only person who knows the secret of the “jade dove” - an ancient relic hidden in the basements of the Resurrection Cathedral. Blinded by the Nazis in December 1941, old man Bezugly does not lose hope of regaining his sight by using the power of a magic dove. But in order to open the cache, you need to have a folding key, the central part of which disappeared during the war, and only now, in the late seventies, ended up with Andrei, who stole it from the monastery museum. Promising fabulous riches, Bezugly persuades summer resident Irina to get the key. For this, Irina gets involved with the local punks, goes to humiliation, betrays her best friends, but does not suspect that the “secret of the jade dove” is mortally dangerous for everyone who touches her...
