A lyrical story about a teenager, his thoughts, feelings and experiences when his first love overtook him. And about his cynical twists, and about what he took out of his youth, and how he retained in himself those good principles that are called faith in love. These are the thoughts of a fairly mature man who, facing old age, floats on the waves of memory, looking at the ocean as if at his youth. The events take place in the sixties of the last century in his hometown of Karaganda, in the then “New City”. All the heroes of the story are Karaganda residents.
