Keigo Higashino is the author of more than fifty novels who has been popular in Japan for twenty years. Now every new work of his becomes an event. In his homeland, he has been awarded all the major literary awards and prizes, and his novels have been the basis for dozens of film and film adaptations, splashing out on the screens the gloomy atmosphere of his detective stories. This time, the case with which investigator Kusanagi came to Professor Yukawa does not seem particularly unusual: a domestic murder, and there is a suspect.
