Andrey Boretsky is a technician by training and works at a factory. Participant of the III All-Union Seminar of Young Writers Working in the Genre of Adventure and Science Fiction (1984), and the V Republican Conference of Creative Youth of Bashkiria (1985). Laureate of the All-Union competition (1984) for the best anti-war science fiction story. Published in the republican press, the magazine “Student Meridian”, one of the authors of the collection “Sunrises”, published by the Bashkir book publishing house in 1988. In his works, A. Boretsky raises universal human problems. The main theme of the action-packed stories included in the collection was concern for the fate of people and the Earth.
