The publication of I. A. Rodionov’s novel “Our Crime” (its last edition was published in Berlin in 1922) aims to bring back from oblivion the name of this talented but forgotten Russian writer, many of whose calls and insights are relevant in our day days. An introductory article by journalist Galina Stukalova introduces the reader to the long-term and varied searches of the researcher of the life and work of I. A. Rodionov. Their results allow the author of the preface to also make an assumption about the involvement of I.A. Rodionov among the candidates for the creation of the famous novel “Quiet Don” (at least his first two books). The publication includes photographs from the albums of the Rodionov family and their relatives. [photos not included in the source] Published according to the edition: I.A. Rodionov. Our crime (Not nonsense, but reality). From modern folk life. – St. Petersburg, 1908. Edited and with an introductory article by Galina Stukalova.
