Inga Abele - prose writer, poet, playwright. Born in 1972 in Riga. Graduated from the Latvian Academy of Culture (department of drama). Books published in Latvian: a collection of short stories “Akas maja” (“House of the Well”), a collection of poems “Nakts pragmatike” (“Night Pragmatist”), a novel “Uguns nemodina” (“Fire does not awaken”), a collection of plays “Lugas” (“Plays”) Three plays - “Tumsie briezi” (“Dark Deer”), “Dzelzzale” (“Iron Grass”), “Jasmins” (“Jasmine”) were staged in Latvia and in several European countries.
