The cave was beautiful, stuffy and wet, multi-colored lamps illuminated the bizarre formations, and we came to the conclusion that it was not in vain that we went. The promise of visiting a restaurant with a free tasting of homemade wine warmed my soul. Getting lost in a cave with paths diverging in all directions was a piece of cake, so we tried not to let the guide out of our sight. Every now and then I had to wait for someone, people tended to deviate from the route and stick their nose where they weren’t asked.
