Some angels don't have harps. We hunt demons. I never wanted to be an angel. Honestly, being an angel sucks. There are no instructions or guidance for this job. No one told me that I would inherit powers without knowing how to control them. Or that I will pass out after a flight and wake up naked in strange places. Or that I can only sleep in rooms without windows. Or that when I pick up a weapon, someone will probably die. Oh, and I can't drink alcohol anymore because I accidentally start fires. It's quite difficult to have a normal social life under these circumstances... much less date anyone. But I, Dags Jordain, am doing well. Like. Well, I'm trying. When I'm not hunting demons, I work as a private investigator in Hollywood, California. One day I get into a fight with a demon in an alley, inadvertently save the life of a movie star, and everything changes. Meanwhile, someone has opened a portal to hell under the Hollywood Sign, a dead guy left me his dog as an inheritance, and a homicide detective who has hated me since high school is trying to decide if I'm a serial killer. Did I mention that there might be angel - sucks?
